I got several quotes on heat pumps, which were all pretty close. RSI was slightly better, but the deciding point was RSI does not charge a “Service Call Fee (~$100 industry standard)” during the warranty period. Others offered that feature for the first year. So RSI supplied and professionally installed two 15,000 Fujitsu heat pumps (5/5 star!! for communication, and installation) that have a 12 year parts, 10 year labor warranty . Now they have only been in for a couple of weeks, and so far so good; but then because of the warranty, I’ve got nothing to worry about! I like to program my heat settings, diff temps during the day/night (set it and leave it).
